/ What
Configuring a window or door system means combining many decisions: product line, system, opening type, layout composition, measurements, colors, handles, profiles and construction details. The project brought this complexity into a guided digital path, designed to make selection and customization of Schüco windows, doors and sliding systems clearer.
/ How
Kuama developed a web configurator based on Vue 3, Vite and Pinia, organized as a wizard. Each step guides the user from product line selection to layout composition, from measurements to characteristics, then colors, overview and configuration updates through APIs. Components dedicated to previews, frames, profiles, handles, measurements and warnings help make the consequences of choices visible and reduce errors caused by inconsistent combinations or data.
/ The_result
The result is a more readable configuration flow for sales and technical users: variants are selected in sequence, measurements are checked in the context of the layout and the preview makes verification of the configured product more immediate. This reduces dependence on manual steps and makes it easier to connect guided selection, design and sales.
/ Contributions
A parametric preview connected to wizard state
The most relevant technical choice is the connection between application state, measurement calculation and visual representation. When line, system, layout, color or characteristics change, the configurator updates both data and preview: an approach that helps govern many variants without losing operational readability.
Windows software connecting graphic preparation, laser parameters and machine control to make fabric cutting and engraving more governable.
A mobile app and dedicated API to make the signing of Parpas technicians' field service reports more traceable.
