/ What
San Marco Pitture needed to make B2B processes distributed across customers, sales network, retailers, customer service and administrators more organized and accessible. Orders, documents, promotions, customer information and product data had to be managed in a coherent reserved area, with paths suited to different roles.
/ How
Kuama worked on the web portal and backend/API, connecting operational interfaces, permissions, data and integrations. The .NET backend gave structure to processes and services; the web app made navigation, filters, tables, documents, feedback and dedicated flows available to B2B users. Logging, containerization and integrations made maintenance more controllable over time.
/ The_result
The result is a platform that makes it easier to follow orders, documents and operational functions without scattering information across different channels and roles. Customers and the sales network have more guided paths; customer service and administrators can work on more structured data and more traceable processes.
/ Contributions
APIs and permissions as the structure of the process
The most concrete choice was to treat APIs, roles and the interface as a single operating system: agent navigation, company filters, documents, promotions and customer data were connected to distinct responsibilities and usage contexts. This reduces ambiguity, manual requests and corrective interventions.
A B2B portal integrated with eSolver to make orders, price lists, promotions and backoffice processes more controllable for customers, agents and internal operators.
A desktop application, license portal and APIs to manage color dispensing, activations and updates across the San Marco Pitture and Novacolor network.
